Crowe Clark Whitehill wins top Black Country business award

The Black Country’s best professional services firm is Crowe Clark Whitehill – and that’s official.

The Midlands office of the national audit, tax and advisory service was named “Professional Services firm of the Year” at the prestigious Black Country Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards.

Midlands managing partner Johnathan Dudley said “The award we won recognises our technical expertise, our commitment to training and development and the wider community, our creativity and client service.

“Particularly, the judges noted our efforts in the creation of specific networks in not-for-profit, our professional practices group, and last but not least, manufacturing.

“This clearly shows that our strategies are not only working but also that they are recognised and respected in the wider community,” he said.

He said the award was all the more welcome because of the strength of professional services in the Black Country.

“There are several good professional firms in the region, not least our fellow category finalists Higgs & Son and Handelsbanken. To have won this award in the company of such strong competition, is therefore, pretty special.

Crowe Clark Whitehill was also shortlisted from the list of finalists to be considered for the “Best Business in the Black Country” accolade.

“We lost out to a manufacturing company that has gone forward for a national chamber award in London, so we were truly in good company!” Johnathan said

“I was very proud and honoured to accept the award on behalf of all our staff as it has been won by and needs to be celebrated by everyone who works in our Midlands office,” he said.
