Southampton law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has enjoyed a strong start to the year with the addition of three new joiners.

Josie Williams has joined as an associate in the Construction team and will work closely with partner Hayley Steel. Bringing experience from her previous role at Womble Bond Dickinson, Josie will bolster the team, which is rapidly expanding.

In the Commercial and Private Client Litigation team, Lyssa Reeve joins as a new solicitor, working with partner Owen Williams. Having trained at Blandy and Blandy, Lyssa also has experience as a paralegal for the Serious Fraud Office.

Gina McCadden has been appointed as a solicitor in the Employment team, working with partner and head of employment for Clarke Willmott, Marc Long. Joining from Warner Goodman, Gina will work on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law.

Kelvin Balmont, chairman and head of Clarke Willmott’s Southampton office, said: “We are delighted to get 2021 off to a great start with the hire of three new joiners, who will prove invaluable to our busy teams.

“In such turbulent times we pride ourselves on providing a vital and steadfast service to our clients and the new team members will allow us to do so.

“It is particularly impressive to see the construction team expanding so quickly. As a relatively new team, it is a testament to their hard work and excellent service to see them doing so well and gaining real momentum within the industry.

“We hope to continue our strong start to the year with further appointments and successes.”
