New lease options open for smaller independents at The Springs Leeds

Developer, Scarborough Group International, and its investment partner Legal & General, have let the last remaining ‘large format store’ at The Springs Leeds to The Range, adding to a strong line-up of retailers for the popular out of town shopping and leisure scheme, situated within Thorpe Park Leeds.

Opportunities are now being made available at The Springs to appeal to smaller, independent businesses as the partnership seeks to complement the overall shopping and leisure proposition for visitors.

With plans to open in early December, The Range has agreed terms to occupy a 17,500 sq ft unit at the Springs. The great-value home, leisure and gardens retailer has committed to the scheme for 15 years and expects to create around 40 jobs at the store.

The store will provide an offering of the most popular products found in The Range stores around the country. It includes a wide selection of products to style the home, including luxurious bedding, statement lighting and beautiful ornaments to finish the look. Combined with furniture, DIY and some The Range essentials, this store is expected to have something to suit everyone’s tastes and needs.
