Building Consultancy Partner appointed in new role of Head of ESG – Refurbishment & Development at Workman

Hedley Jones, Head of ESG Refurbishment & Development, Workman

Hedley Jones, Partner in the Building Consultancy division at Workman LLP, is to join the firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team in the new role of Head of ESG Refurbishment & Development. The move sees Hedley add his extensive technical construction expertise, along with substantial knowledge of related sustainability issues, to the firm’s ESG services.

Hedley’s specialist building surveying and project management experience will enhance the skills of the existing ESG team, providing the expertise necessary to deliver true end-to-end ESG services across the whole asset lifecycle. He will provide practical advice to clients to ensure initiatives are technically feasible, practically deliverable and cost effective. This new capability will further strengthen Workman’s ability to deliver ESG solutions to real estate investors and occupiers.

Describing the benefits of the new role, Jones said; “The concise, distilled information borne out of our technical knowledge will enable our partners to achieve their environmental goals, within their commercial parameters.”
