Stratton Creber Commercial connects Jurassic Fibre to new Honiton HQ in large lockdown deal

Acting on behalf of Jurassic Fibre Ltd, Stratton Creber Commercial’s Exeter office has negotiated the purchase of 27,120 sq ft of warehouse and office accommodation on 2.03 acres for the company on Ottery Moor Lane in Honiton.

Andrew Hosking, Director of Stratton Creber Commercial comments: ”having acted for Jurassic Fibre in connection with their property acquisitions since the summer of 2019, we received instructions to seek additional warehouse space in the Honiton/ Exeter areas in early April 2020. Despite the lockdown, we were able to identify a number of opportunities and undertake socially distanced inspections. I introduced the former Goonvean Fibres premises to our client and, by the end of July, completion had taken place following regular and close liaison between all of the parties, solicitors and agents.

”I am particularly pleased to have negotiated a significant reduction on behalf of my clients on the offers in excess of £1.6m asking price. It is also very rewarding to be acting for such a forward thinking, expanding cutting edge company whose workforce is set to increase further following this acquisition and bring much needed employment to the area.”

Significant fitting out and refurbishment works are in the process of being undertaken to allow the facility to open as quickly as possible. Alder King acted for the vendors.
