Bluestone hits heights with prime location

A new trade counter operator in windows and plastics for builders and DIY customers has acquired a recently-constructed and highly-visible unit on a new development at one of Wiltshire’s most popular and convenient business parks.

Bluestone Windows & Plastics Ltd has taken Units 29-34 at Amesbury’s Bluestone Centre, which are between industry giants Screwfix and Howdens Joinery.

The unit comprised 2,741 sq ft (254.63 sq m) ground floor unit with mezzanine floor.

Bluestone Windows & Plastics Ltd has agreed a 10-year lease in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.

The Bluestone Centre occupies a prime location at the gateway to Solstice Park, a 160-acre mixed use business park – with direct access to the A303 dual carriageway at Amesbury.

Myddelton & Major Partner Philip Holford said: “Bluestone Windows & Plastics Ltd is a successful local company and I was pleased to facilitate this deal to secure such a prime trade counter warehouse unit next door to Screwfix and Howdens.

“The company will operate as a trade counter, supplying to the trade and DIY customers.”

Major occupiers at Solstice Park include Home Bargains, Muller Wiseman, Greggs (to be built), Lovibond, Animal Friends and Birchall Teas.

Other occupiers of the Bluestone Centre include Screwfix, Howden’s Joinery, Vetimed, and Nationwide Engineering.
